INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING

Module by: Nguyen Huu Phuong

As its name, this course is just an introduction to Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Details and mathematical analysis are kept at a reasonable level. The course is intended to comprise nine chapters as follows:
  1. Discrete – time signals and systems
  2. Analysis in time domain
  3. Discrete – time Fourier transform and system frequency response
  4. The z-transform
  5. Design of FIR filters
  6. Design of IIR filters
  7. Discrete Fourier transform and Fast Fourier transform
  8. Implementation of digital filters and finite word length effect
  9. Multirate processing
The draft of the first five chapters posted here still has various articles to be completed such as Readings and References, Problems, Laboratory and Projects, and perhaps some copyright permission as well. The future version will be better. The last chapters 6 to 9 are being prepared.
The author welcomes with gratitude any suggestions from readers.
